Commemorative stamps were officially released into circulation by CEO of Post of Serbia Mr. Goran Ćirić, who pointed out that the stamps, as well as books, also bring people together, bringing their unique message and distinctive cultural, artistic and historical features of Serbia to most remote corners of the world.

This edition of the Post of Serbia is implemented in cooperation with the postal administration of Brazil. Through stamps the countries can easily communicate, no matter how geographically remote and in what language they speak. On this occasion, the connection between Serbia and Brazil is the literature of two countries. The two stamps of nominal value of 22 and 46 dinars, are portraits of Rachel de Keiroz, one of the most famous Brazilian writer of his day (November 17. 1910. - November 4. 2003.) and the first female writer winner of Camões – award for literary creations in Portuguese language and our Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić (October 10. 1892. - March 13. 1975.).

Art work of this philatelic edition is by M.Sc. Marina Kalezić, an academic painter, designer of stamps at th Post Office of Serbia.
