The Post of Serbia enables the fastest and safest transport and delivery of postal items to its customers in domestic traffic, within the proscribed and guaranteed time limits. Our customers can use the Post Express service for reception, transport and delivery of postal items on the whole territory of our country. Post Express is a “door-to-door” courier service that enables the fastest and safest transport and delivery of postal items.

Description

Post Express has an organized courier service in 71 towns and is supported by postal network over the whole territory of Serbia. The services ensure distribution of mail containing documents, written notifications, goods and other objects, except those legally prohibited. Weight of a postal item can be up to 50 kg or even heavier if the items are indivisible.

Reception of Post Express mail is organized:

  • By courier in 71 towns at the address of your choice, on special telephone numbers

  • And at counters in particular post offices throughout Serbia.

Post Express Call Center handles users' inquiries and will ensure that you get any information you need fast and easily, from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. on every working day and 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Post Express services

Post Express offers you the following services: "Today Instantly" ("Danas za odmah"), "Today for Today" ("Danas za Danas") and "Today for Tomorrow" ("Danas za Sutra") with the following delivery times:

  • max. 3 hours for "Today Instantly" service;
  • by 8 p.m. on the same day for "Today for Today" service;
  • by noon on the subsequent working day for "Today for Tomorrow" service.

"Today Instantly"

"Today Instantly" service enables you to take over and receive POST EXPRESS mail in 71 towns through our courier service. After dialing special telephone number +381 11 3 607 607, our courier will come and take over your mail within half an hour (an hour in the territory of Belgrade) at the specified address. The item will be delivered as soon as possible, but not later than 3 hours from takeover. Maximum weight of your consignment is 15 kg.

We receive your mail every day (except Sunday) in the following towns: Apatin, Aranđelovac, Bačka Palanka, Banovci Dunav, Bečej, Beograd, Blace, Bor, Borča, Ćuprija, Čačak, Despotovac, Futog, Gornji Milanovac, Inđija, Ivanjica, Jagodina, Kaluđerica, Kikinda, Kladovo, Knjaževac, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Krnjača, Krnješevci, Kruševac, Kula, Kuršumlija, Leskovac, Loznica, Negotin, Niš, Nova Pazova, Novi Bečej, Novi Pazar, Novi Sad, Odžaci, Pančevo, Paraćin, Pećinci, Petrovac na Mlavi, Pirot, Požarevac, Prokuplje, Raška, Ruma, Senta, Sjenica, Smederevo, Sombor, Sremska Mitrovica, Stara Pazova, Subotica, Surdulica, Svilajnac, Šabac, Šid, Šimanovci, Temerin, Trstenik, Tutin, Užice, Valjevo, Veternik, Vlasotince, Vranje, Vrbas, Vrnjačka Banja, Vršac, Zaječar, Zrenjanin.

"Today for Today"

"Today for Today" service is available between 37 towns in Serbia and guarantees delivery of mail on the same day. Items are taken over only through our courier, at the specified address, called on our special telephone numbers +381 11 3 607 607. The guaranteed delivery time is by 8 p.m. on the same day. Maximum weight of your mail is 50 kg, or 100 kg if its content is indivisible.
"Today for Today" service is currently available between the following towns: Arilje (just the reception of postal items), Banovci –Dunav, Beograd, Ćuprija, Čačak, Gornji Milanovac, Inđija, Jagodina, Kikinda, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Krnješevci (just the reception of postal items), Kruševac, Loznica, Niš, Nova Pazova, Novi Pazar (just the reception of postal items), Novi Sad, Obrenovac (just the reception of postal items), Pančevo, Paraćin, Pećinci (just the reception of postal items), Požarevac, Požega (just the reception of postal items), Raška (just the reception of postal items), Ruma, Smederevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Stara Pazova, Subotica, Svilajnac, Šabac, Šid, Šimanovci(just the reception of postal items), Užice, Vršac, Zrenjanin.

"Today for Tomorrow"

"Today for Tomorrow" service guarantees that the items taken over today will be delivered by noon on the first subsequent working day. Items are taken over in more than 400 towns or by our couriers in 65 towns upon dialing our special telephone number +381 11 3 607 607. We deliver your mail in the entire territory of Serbia, in over 600 places at the recipient's address. Maximum weight of your postal item is 50 kg or 100 kg if its content is indivisible. Weight of items handed over at Post Office counters may not exceed 20 kg.

  1. What are express services?
    Express services are services which enable fastest and guaranteed time limits for postal item delivery in domestic and international traffic. The Post of Serbia offers its customers Post Express service in domestic traffic and EMS service in international traffic.
  2. What are Post Express services?
    Post Express services represent the shortest guaranteed time of mail delivery within the internal and international traffic.
  3. What are Post Express items?
    Post Express mail items are the items with the registered number and can be received as:
    • Mail items with or without the indicated value;
    • COD mail items;
    • Return delivery items;
    • Personal delivery items.
  4. What are the ways of express mail items transfer?
    Post Express mail items can be submitted to transfer as:
    • Mail items within the town - "Today Instantly"
      In 66 towns throughout Serbia the couriers of Post Express take over and deliver the mail items in the shortest possible time. The mail items are received every day (except Sundays) from 8 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 to 3 p.m. The weight of mail item is up to 15 kg. Delivery term is 3 hours from the take over of mail item.
    • Mail items for the service "Today for Today"
      Between 34 towns in Serbia, the reception of mail items is performed within the exact time in one town and delivery is made in another town within the same day until 8 p.m.
    • Mail items for the service "Today for Tomorrow"
      This service guarantees that the mail item you submit today shall be delivered the next day up to 12 a.m. Delivery of mail items is performed throughout the entire territory of Serbia.
  5. What are the deadlines of Post Express mail items delivery?
    The delivery deadlines for the service:
    • Today Instantly – 4 hours from the take over of mail item
    • Today for Today – the same day up to 8 p.m.
    • Today for Tomorrow – the next following day up to 12 a.m.
  6. The methods of payment?
    The methods of payment are as follows:
    • cash,
    • over the account, for the Contract users,
    • special option – payment for the service performed at the delivery.
  7. What is the allowed weight of Post Express mail items?
    The maximum prescribed weight is 50 kg, but it can be higher than that, but not exceeding the limit of 100 kg if the content of the item can not be divided.
  8. What can a Post Express mail item contain
    Post Express mail items can contain documents, written notifications, goods and other articles except those forbidden by law.
    The transfer of following articles is forbidden: money, jewelry, precious metals and stones, animals, drugs and psychotropic substances, radioactive, inflammable and other dangerous substances, arms and ammunition and all articles the transfer of which is forbidden by law. The Sender bears all the consequences for the transfer of the articles and goods in these mail items which are excluded from the transfer.
  9. Is there a specialized packaging material prescribed for the Post Express mail items?
    We provide the appropriate packaging for the documents, and as regards to the parcels they are to be provided and packed by the Sender.
    Documents and written notifications are packed in a Post Express cardboard envelope, while the goods and other articles are packed in the Post Express polyethylene envelope or the packaging which is suitable for the contents of the goods.
  10. What is the procedure of submition and delivery of the mail item?
    • phone the Call Center on the following numbers: 011 607 607 and 065 3 607 607;
    • inform the operator about the destination, contents and weight of the mail item;
    • choose the type of Post Express service (Today Instantly, Today for Today, Today for Tomorrow);
    • choose the method of payment (cash or over the account);
    • after 60 minutes the courier shall take over the mail item at your address;
    • if you opt for the Today for Tomorrow service you can submit the mail item at the Post Office counter.
  11. What are the indemnity charges for the lost Post Express mail items and for the over stepping of the delivery time?
    • In case of over stepping the delivery and transfer time of Post Express mail item the customer is entitled to the amount equal to five time postage paid for the transfer of such item.
    • In case of lost or complete damage of Post Express mail item the customer is entitled to the amount equal to ten times postage paid for the transfer of such item.
    • In case of lost or complete damage of Post Express mail item with the indicated value, the customer is entitled to the amount indicated on the mail item plus the amount equal to ten times postage paid for the transfer of such item.
    • In case of damage or losing the part of Post Express mail item content the customer is entitled to the amount equal to the determined or estimated damage, but it should not exceed the amount paid in case of lost or completely damaged mail item.
    Express Service Department is not liable whatsoever and shall not accept any indemnity in case of lost or damaged mail item caused by:
    • the Sender's or Receiver's fault;
    • inadequate mail item packaging;
    • unpredictable events caused by the force majeur (accidents, natural catastrophes, strikes, road blockages ant other);
    • damage caused by the very nature of the item.
  12. What is the complaint procedure?
    If the user of Post Express service wants to receive the indemnity for the damage, he is obliged to submit the written Indemnity Request to the Post Office. Beside that, the user also submits the copy of the trace registration slip relating to the claimed post item and the formal record on the irregularity or the negatively solved inquiry. All these documents are submitted to the Postal Service Department, to the Express Service Sector for further procedure.
    If the sender or authorized person considers that the mail item is not delivered to the receiver or that it was delivered with the delay, he can submit the complaint within 6 months from the day of mail item submission.
    Receiver or the authorized person can make a complaint for the reason of damage or missing of a part of the mail item content, immediately after the mail item is delivered or the following working day at the latest.
    Post Office is obliged to state its position regarding the validity of the complaint, within 30 days from the day of its submission.
  13. How to address the Post Express mail item?
    For the addressing of the Post Express mail item the Address label form is used. The filling out of the form can be done by the Sender or the Post Office clerk. The sender has to indicate on the Address label the type of the mail item he wants to submit (insured mail item, return receipt mail item, COD mail item, personal delivery mail item).
