WESTERN UNION is the fastest way to receive/send money from abroad. In this way money may be sent to over 200 countries all over the world.
The Post of Serbia offers the service of Western Union only in dinars. Foreign currents are exchanged into dinars according to the Western Union exchange rates. Post of Serbia offers the service of Western Union (WU) money order, in national currency on the whole territory of the Republic of Serbia, and thus enables the customers the service of international money transfer.
Fee for this service is calculated according to the Western Union price list, and only the remitter pays it.

The reception of money – payment of Western Union money order

The reception of money service enables money payment in dinars on the post office counters, sent from over 200 countries. Money is available in few minutes after being sent. The payment is done after the recipient shows some ID. If recipient doesn't have any ID, he should contact the money sender to change the name of recipient. In order to take the money, recipient needs to know the amount of money, first and last name of the sender and country from which the money is being sent.

Sending money – paying the Western Union money order

Service Sending money enables paying money on the counters of a post office which could be received in any Western Union location in over 200 countries. In order to send money from Serbia, you just have to go to a post office which provides Western Union service. Sender has to show an ID, tell the first and last name of recipient and the country where he wants to send his money to. Sender sends money in dinars, and recipient receives money in a currency of the country where the money was sent. Sender can make a firm transfer by asking the payment of specifically determined amount and currency (for example 1.000 USD). In that case, recipient can get the money in determined currency. Only in this case, exchange rate doesn't influence the amount of money. After the transfer, sender informs the recipient about the amount of money, exact name and country of sender, as well as the Money Transfer Control ID. Daily limit for sending money is 90.000 RSD, and monthly limit is 900.000 RSD per person. Only the Post offers this service.

Home delivery

Home delivery is an extra service which enables money delivered to a home address of recipient. When sending money from abroad, sender can choose that the money is delivered to the recipient's address. Only the Post offers this service.
