The Government Approves the Distribution of Profits of the Post of Serbia
At the today’s session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted the Decision of the Supervisory Board of the PE Post of Serbia, Belgrade as regards the profit distribution for 2016. Out of the total net profits for the last year (3.47 billion dinars), 2.4 billion will be paid to the Budget of the Republic of Serbia, while 950 million will be paid out to the employees.
This means that every employee will get one additional average monthly salary, which presents continuation of good practice in recent years that the employees of the Post of Serbia take part in the profit distribution. This is an incentive but also a gratitude for the contribution they have provided in achieving good business performance.
This is an outcome of constructive and argumentative discussion among the Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Minister Milan Krkobabić, responsible for coordination of work in public enterprises and Mira Petrović, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, followed by a joint meeting with the representatives of two representative union in this public enterprise – PTT Serbia Union and PTT “Nezavisnost” Union.
We would like to point out that by this act all the key requests of both representative unions of the Post of Serbia are fulfilled, while additional analysis of possibilities for raising salaries has been launched, in order to find the best model for improvement of social and material position of 15,000 employees of the Post of Serbia. We highlight the fact that PE Post of Serbia, unlike the most of public enterprises, does not use budgetary funds while having outstanding business results and paying significant funds to the Budget of the Republic of Serbia, by best efforts of its 15,000 employees.
In addition, we would like to inform the public that due to the illegal blockade of operations in the Regional Postal & Logistic Centre “Beograd” as the heartbeat of the PE Post of Serbia, organised by the Independent Union of Postal Workers, the work process of general interest we are entristed with was stopped for several days, which caused immense damage due to delays in delivery of postal items. The expert offices of the Post of Serbia work intensively on the estimation of direct and indirect damages suffered by our enterprise due to the illegal blockade of operations in the Regional Postal & Logistic Centre “Beograd”, and all the measures allowed by the law are taken against the participants in order to sanction their behaviour.
