On the public holiday New Year's Day, Thursday and Friday, January 1–2, 2026, and on the religious holiday Christmas, Wednesday, January 7, duty post offices will be open.

The Main Post Office at Takovska 2 in Belgrade will be open on all days of the holidays, from 8 am to 9:30 pm, and post offices at the Čukarka, Batrovci, Horgoš border crossings and the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings will operate according to their regular working hours, i.e. will be open non-stop. The post office at the Gradina border crossing will be open from 7 am to 6:30 pm, and the post office at the Sremska Rača border crossing from 4 pm to midnight, on Thursday, January 1 and Wednesday, January 7, while on Friday, January 2, it will be open 24 hours.

On Friday, January 2, 63 duty post offices will be open throughout the country, in Belgrade and all major cities and tourist centres. Post offices in shopping centres in Belgrade, Pančevo and Kragujevac, post offices in "Univerexport" facilities in Belgrade, Novi Sad and the surrounding area, Zrenjanin and Sombor, in "Roda" facilities in Kragujevac, Sremska Mitrovica and Šabac, post offices in Zlatibor and Kopaonik and other duty post offices will be open. The post office at "Nikola Tesla" Airport will be open from 8 am to 2 pm.

On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, post offices with full-day working hours will operate with reduced hours, until 5 pm, and on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, their working hours will be until 2 pm, longest until 3pm.

On Christmas Eve, according to the Gregorian calendar, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, 26 post offices in the Subotica area will be closed and 18 post offices will operate with reduced hours.

On the religious holiday of Christmas, according to the Gregorian calendar, Thursday, December 25, 2025, 46 post offices in Vojvodina will be closed. These are post offices in the areas of Subotica (25), Sombor (6), Novi Sad (7), Zrenjanin (3), Pančevo (4) and Sremska Mitrovica (1).

Eighteen post offices in the Subotica area and post office 26210 Kovačica in the Pančevo area will operate with reduced hours on Gregorian Christmas.

The post office 21411 Begeč began operating at the new location at Branka Radičevića 6 in Begeč, municipality of Novi Sad.

The post provides money transactions services, reception, delivery of postal items and performs exchange operations.

The working hours are on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

 

The contract post office 35228 Supska began operating at Karađorđeva 97 in Supska village, municipality of Ćuprija.

The new post office offers payment services as well as reception and delivery of postal items. Working hours are weekdays from 7.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The sale of written-off vehicles will continue from December 16 to 23 at public auctions in Belgrade working units of the Post of Serbia: in the Regional Postal and Logistics Centre "Belgrade" and the Working Unit "Zemun"  December 16, the Working Unit "Belgrade Centre" and the Working Unit "Beogradski venac"  December 17. Public auctions will then be held in Sombor – December 18 and Subotica – December 23. The subject of the sale are written-off freight and passenger vehicles.
