Starting March 23, PE Post of Serbia organized the work of the post office as follows:

  • in post offices that worked throughout the day before the state of emergency, working hours are organized between 9am and 2pm on working days and Saturdays;
  • in post offices that are open on Sundays, working hours are organized between 9am and 2pm;
  • in some smaller post offices that were open up until 2pm before the state of emergency, working hours will not change.

Notification of any changes in working hours will be displayed on the front door of the post office. The Main Post Office in Takovska no. 2 in Belgrade, will operate between 9am and 2pm on working days, Saturdays and Sundays.

As of today, the temporarily closed post offices are reopened: 23301 Kikinda – Svetosavska no. 105; 23302 Kikinda - Žarka Zrenjanina No. 47 and 12102 Požarevac - Zabela 1 BB.

In accordance with the Decision declaring a State of Emergency, the PE Post of Serbia shall temporarily suspend the provision of Post Express services as of March 21, 2020. Also, starting March 20, 2020 the Cash Express service was suspended.

In the following period, the Post of Serbia will smoothly provide universal postal and payment operation services:

  • letterpost items weighing up to 2 kg;
  • court, administrative and misdemeanor proceedings documentation;
  • parcels weighing up to 10 kg;
  • postal orders (in domestic and international traffic), money orders in international traffic - Western Union, MoneyGram and PostNet orders;
  • payment operation services - payments to the current account, payments from the current account, payments of utilities and payment of liabilities (taxes, fees, etc.).

Temporary changes in the provision of services are implemented by the Post of Serbia in accordance with the measures in force and the relevant instructions, in order to preserve the health and safety of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.

Smaller post offices will be temporarily closed as of March 20, 2020 in accordance with working conditions during the state of emergency. Customers are requested to use the postal services in the next nearest post office. You may find the list of post offices here.

In accordance with the measures we are continuously implementing to ensure adequate redistribution of work and protection of human resources, as of March 19, 2020 , some smaller receiving post offices will be temporarily closed. The customers are requested to use the postal services in larger post offices, the work of which is organized in accordance with the working conditions during the state of emergency. Starting March 17, the PE Post of Serbia organized the operations of post offices in the state of emergency, as follows:

  • in post offices that have so far been open throughout the day, working hours will be organized between 10 am and 5 pm on weekdays, and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm;
  • in post offices that also work on Sundays, working hours will be organized between 10am and 2pm;
  • Main post office in Takovska St. no. 2 in Belgrade will not be open 24 hours, but from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays, and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10 am and 2 pm;
  • in smaller post offices where work was organized in one shift, working hours will not change (applies to post offices where only the work of counter service is organized);
  • in certain smaller post offices (post offices where the work of the counter and delivery services is organized), the opening hours will be from 10 AM.

Notification of any changes in working hours will be displayed on the front door of the post office.
