Novelty at the Post Office – communication with users via VIBER
Post of Serbia is introducing a new channel of communication with users via VIBER messages. Starting from 19 March, 2022, the Post of Serbia will send information on the arrival of Post Net money orders, parcels or post-express items for delivery at the address and notifications on their storage for delivery at the post office via a VIBER application.
From 19 March, communication will work by sending VIBER messages first, and if the reception of the message is not possible, because the user's mobile phone is not on the Internet or the user does not have the VIBER application installed, information about the postal item and its status will be obtained as before, in an SMS message.
This novelty is undertaken at the request of a large number of users, with the aim of easier and faster communication with users who use the VIBER application as a channel for exchanging messages and notifications, and follows the goals of further modernisation and improvement of postal services.
