Property tax decision for Novi Sad residents at post office counters

Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, visited the Post Office 21107 Novi Sad at 83 Patrijarha Pavla Blvd today with the member of the City Council for Budget, Finance and Investments of the City of Novi Sad, Adrijana Mesarović, on the occasion of the new service of the City Tax Administration of Novi Sad in cooperation with the Post of Serbia.

Starting from July 27, the new service allows natural persons who are taxpayers of the City Tax Administration of Novi Sad to collect a copy of the decision on the determined property tax free of charge with a valid ID card at post office counters in the territory of the City of Novi Sad, as well as in all post offices throughout Serbia. This practically means that the citizens of Novi Sad, if they happen to be outside their place of residence, can collect a copy of the decision on citizens' property tax at the post office in any city in which they are currently located.

"Integrated services and connection with other service companies and institutions of importance for our citizens whenever possible, brings improvement in daily functioning, better quality of life and work, as well as better service that we always strive for. We have made it possible to collect tax decisions at post office counters in order to reduce queues and waiting, especially during tax payment time limits. Cooperation with the City Tax Administration of the City of Novi Sad is the first cooperation established within the pilot project, and we plan to transfer the good experiences to other cities, especially the largest ones," said Zoran Đorđević.

In the continuation of his visit to Novi Sad, Đorđević then visited and spoke with the employees of the Regional Postal and Logistics Centre Novi Sad.
