From the 4th SCC Assembly’s session and 11th session of Directors’ Board

The fourth session of the Assembly and the eleventh session of the Board of Directors of this institution was held today at the headquarters of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC). The president of the SCC, Marko Čadež, addressed the attendees, who presented to the members of the Assembly and the Board of Directors the change in the work concept of the SCC as a response to global challenges and the transformation of the economy.

The Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević, who was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors the previous year at the suggestion of President Čadež, took part in the work of the session.

Since the Board of Directors of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce includes businesspersons who lead the most important Serbian companies and represent all key segments of the domestic economy, Zoran Đorđević was entrusted with a four-year mandate in this important body last year.

"With over 1,500 branches and 15,000 employees, the Post of Serbia enjoys great trust of citizens and the economy of the Republic of Serbia. Our desire is to be the best domestic company, which is why in the previous period we dedicatedly worked towards that goal by improving in all segments, digitalizing services and business processes. We are equally committed to improving services for the benefit of all citizens, but also to improving working conditions for our employees," said Đorđević.

According to the statement from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the composition of the Board of Directors reflects the strategic determination of the SCC that representatives of all sectors of the economy that lead the national business association, decide on the key directions of its policy, as well as contribute with their proposals and initiatives to the creation of regulations important for the economy, thus improving the business and investment climate in Serbia and the development of the overall domestic economy.
