Director of the Post visited Post Offices in Sjenica, Tutin and Novi Pazar
The Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, visited post offices in Sjenica, Karajukića Bunari, Tutin, Ribarići and Novi Pazar today, where he met with employees and representatives of local self-governments, with the aim of improving operations, conditions in facilities and the quality of service in this part of Serbia.
The visit began at Post Office 36310 Sjenica, where the Director spoke with employees and the President of the Municipality of Sjenica, Munib Mujagić, after which he continued his tour at Karajukića Bunari (Post Office 36313), as part of his regular supervision of work in remote and scattered areas such as the Pešter Plateau.
During the visit, Anđelković said:
"When there is a good team atmosphere, when the team is united in both joy and difficult moments, the results are better. There are problems in every job, but when we solve them together, everything is easier. I am especially glad to be in Pešter today, which brings me back to my youth. This area and its people have a special place in my heart", said Anđelković.
In Tutin, the Director visited Post Office 36320, where a ceremonial reception was held on the occasion of the retirement of long-time manager Fehim Kurtović, who spent 26 years in that position.
"Managing a municipal post office was not just a job, it was an honour and a responsibility. The post office was often the first and last point of support for many people. It was a privilege that I did a job that I loved, and with colleagues that I could always rely on. I owe special gratitude to the Post of Serbia and to you, Mr. Director, for being here today, I will never forget this gesture", said Kurtović.
A meeting was also held in Tutin with the Mayor of the Municipality, Selma Kučević, after which the visit continued in Novi Pazar, where the tour included two post offices: 36300 Novi Pazar 1 and 36316 Novi Pazar 5. Director Anđelković also visited the Contract Post Office 36324 Novi Pazar, which is of great importance to the residents of this area.
"The Post is a service for citizens, and that is our common interest, both of citizens and local self-governments. Together we can contribute to a better network, more efficient delivery and greater customer satisfaction. I am particularly pleased that the mayors of the municipalities of Sjenica and Tutin have also emphasized that citizens are satisfied with the work of the Post, which reaches every household, even in the most remote parts of the Pešter Plateau", concluded Anđelković.
