332 employees hired into permanent employment by the Post of Serbia in 2025

The Post of Serbia ends the business year by hiring into permanent employment the largest number of employees engaged in technological positions in the final stage of the process that lasted throughout the year. 122 colleagues were hired into permanent employment, and the decisions were presented to them by the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković.

In the current year, a total of 332 employees were hired for an indefinite period in all working units across the country, most of whom are mail carriers, delivery persons, counter technicians, postal technicians and drivers.

Director Anđelković congratulated his colleagues and thanked them for their dedicated work, loyalty and decision to stay and build their careers at the Post of Serbia. He said that in addition to achieving good business results, it is especially important to him to fulfil the promises made to employees and maintain job stability.

"This year, we have transferred 332 employees to permanent employment. I know how important it is for employees to be hired on a permanent basis. It provides household security and resolves some other family issues, so that employees can make long-term plans, and not worry about what tomorrow might bring", said Anđelković, adding that the process of hiring employees into permanent employment will continue next year as well.

Director Anđelković reviewed the results in 2025 and highlighted as the most important the successfully implemented project of robotization of processing centres, for which the Post of Serbia received the PostEurop Rising Star Award in the Field of Innovation. He underlined the importance of admission of the Post of Serbia to the Postal Operations Council, a strategic body of the Universal Postal Union, the award received at the European competition for the most beautiful stamp of the “Europe” issue, and the project of expanding the network of parcel lockers, which, as he said, will be in every settlement during 2026.

"I would like us to achieve at least the same results next year as in 2025. If they turn out to be better, that would be great, but I would be satisfied if we achieved at least as much as we have achieved this year", said Anđelković.

He thanked all employees, 13,000 of whom are engaged in 1,575 post offices and 29 working units across the country, without whose efforts and dedication none of this would have been possible. For 2026, Anđelković announced further improvements of the financial situation of employees.

On behalf of the colleagues who are now employed on permanent basis, Director Anđelković was thanked by the delivery person Damir Đurić from the Post Office 11211 Borča.

The ceremonial gathering at the Belgrade Main Post Office was attended by representatives of the company's management and Supervisory Board, directors of working units and employees of the Post of Serbia.
