Director of Pošta Srbije in Sevojno and Bajina Bašta
Emphasis on service availability, citizen needs and socially responsible activities
Continuing his tour of postal facilities and talks with representatives of local self-governments across Serbia, the Director of Pošta Srbije, Zoran Anđelković, visited Sevojno and Bajina Bašta today, where he held meetings and toured the post offices. In Sevojno, Director Anđelković met with the President of the Municipality, Mirjana Đurić. On that occasion, they discussed the needs of citizens and improving the availability of postal and financial services, and the agreement was made to install an ATM and a new parcel locker with COD option. After the meeting, the Director toured the Post Office in Sevojno.
Afterwards, the Director of Pošta Srbije met with the President of the Municipality of Bajina Bašta, Milenko Ordagić. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the regional Working Unit, Slobodan Šiljković. During the conversation, ways were discussed to make all necessary services available to citizens, including ATMs and certain separate counters, as well as opportunities for improving postal services in tourist destinations, such as Kaluđerske Bare, Rogačica, and Mitrovac on Tara. After the meeting, Director Anđelković visited the Post Office in Bajina Bašta.
"The citizens of Bajina Bašta expressed great satisfaction with the work of the mail carriers, who are in contact with them every day. They not only deliver bills and letters, but also know the mood of the citizens, and can convey the atmosphere and needs for assistance. Together we work on a general social task for the benefit of the citizens. Just like in Bajina Bašta, but also throughout Serbia, Pošta gave its maximum contribution to the "Svoj na svome" campaign, which was launched by President Aleksandar Vučić with the Ministry and the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Over 30% of people who registered for the legalization of their property did so through post office counters. We are pleased that as a socially responsible company we participate in all campaigns that the local self-government and the state implement in the interest of the citizens", said Zoran Anđelković, Director of Pošta Srbije.
The President of the Municipality of Bajina Bašta, Milenko Ordagić, added: "Talks were specifically about the counter in the Municipal Administration, where it existed until about ten years ago, and now there is a need for it again. Particularly, destinations such as Kaluđerske Bare on Mount Tara, Rogačica and Mitrovac on Tara were discussed. I would like to commend all our mail carriers who are extremely engaged."
