New Machines in the Printing Center of the Post of Serbia
Old industrial halls with warehouse space and a printing center in the Working Unit "Hybrid Post" of the Post of Serbia, located at Ada Huja in Belgrade, have been renovated and transformed into multipurpose modern halls, designed according to the highest standards of the printing, production, and storage industry. Capacities have been further expanded through the procurement of new machines for personalized printing services, envelope production, and complete cardboard products.
At the opening of the new production capacities of the printing office, the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, stated that investing in new equipment and machines intervenes in multiple areas, focusing on modernization, increasing productivity, improving working conditions for employees, and attracting new business.
"We have a printing facility that is among the best in Serbia, high-quality and well-maintained, as well as skilled workers. With the new machines, we become fully equipped to complete technological processes and respond to all future demands. The idea was to expand capacities and enable faster and higher-quality printing services and manufacturing of printed products, both for our own needs and according to the demands of the market and clients. If anything else is needed, we will consider acquiring it," said Director Anđelković.
Anđelković reminded that the core business of "Hybrid Post" is unique in the market due to the combination of traditional postal services and electronic mail, and that it provides a wide range of modern printing and graphic services and products, from design and preparation to final graphic finishing according to client requirements.
The Director of the Working Unit "Hybrid Post", Slobodan Unković, stated that this working unit follows the management's plans and efforts to modernize work, increase revenues, rationalize costs, and modernize services.
"Today, we are putting into operation a machine for printing and producing PVC courier bags, as well as a paper lamination machine—equipment we did not have before and for which we used to allocate significant funds to procure from external sources. By acquiring these machines, we will meet the needs of the Post of Serbia, but we are also entering the market for these products, which will significantly improve our income," Unković said, expressing gratitude and satisfaction with the renewed production capacities and new equipment.
