Post of Serbia at the Belgrade Book Fair until October 31
The 69th International Belgrade Book Fair has been officially opened in Belgrade, running until October 31 under the slogan "Words Build the World." The Post of Serbia is participating as one of the 300 direct exhibitors, offering visitors a diverse literary, cultural-artistic, and educational program at its booth in the Hall 1 arena of the Belgrade Fair.
The central part of the program is dedicated to writers and publishers—friends of the institution—and their meetings with the audience, the presentation of publications regarding the development of the post and postal traffic, and the promotion of editions produced in the Post of Serbia's printing center, "Hybrid Post."
A variety of creative workshops for the youngest visitors are planned as part of the educational and children's program. The workshops from the scope of activities of the PTT Museum, intended for the youngest and school-age children, will take place every day starting at 12 PM.
"School Day" on October 29 features a two-session creative workshop, "How a Postage Stamp is Created," hosted by the Post of Serbia’a stamp designers.
The promotion of the monographic publication "185 Years of the Post of Serbia" by Ljiljana Đorđević, which won a gold medal at the recent philatelic exhibition "SRBIJAFILA XVI," will take place on Friday, October 30, at 1 PM.
A selection of commemorative postage stamps honoring Serbian writers is on display, along with a collage of representative "Srbijamarka" editions, including catalogs, sets, collections, cultural issues, and formal and diplomatic programs.
There is also an inspiring Post photo corner for visitors.
