Post of Serbia introducing a new INSTANT PAYMENT service

As of today, the Post of Serbia enables citizens to instantly pay fees for the services provided by the Ministry of Interior through the instant payment system of the National Bank of Serbia.

All citizens who need to pay fees for the services provided by the Ministry of the Interior - issuing of personal documents (either passports or ID cards), registration stickers, registration of residence and around 300 more services of the Ministry of the Interior - can do so at 4,000 post office counters throughout Serbia, with a minimum fee of 50 RSD for amounts up to 5000.00 RSD, and the funds paid will be visible on the account of the Ministry of the Interior almost instantly.

The importance of the introduction of this service is best illustrated by the fact that almost 50 percent of payments for the services provided by the Ministry of the Interior are performed at post office counters. At the same time, it is an important step towards the complete abolition of paper orders.

In this way, the Post of Serbia supported the "Pay" service, which is available to citizens through the "eGovernment" portal.

The introduction of the instant payment service is another confirmation of the socially responsible role of the Post of Serbia, which through continuous work on modernizing business operations and introducing new technologies meets the needs of its customers - citizens, business entities, state authorities and public institutions.

Instant payment services through the system of the National Bank of Serbia can be provided to citizens by commercial banks and payment institutions, and the Post of Serbia today became the first payment institution in the country to offer this advantage to its customers.
