Warning: new attempt to abuse the logo and name of the Post detected
PE Post of Serbia has detected a new attempt to abuse the logo and name of the Post, which suggests to citizens through false and fraudulent SMS messages that they should make certain payments in order to collect certain postal items.
The SMS message contains a link to a page that is not owned by the PE Post of Serbia, and on which the payment of money via payment cards is requested.
In this way, we would like to draw the attention of the citizens of Serbia to the fact that PE Post of Serbia has never communicated with its customers in this manner and that if they receive messages with similar content, they do not act in the way requested of them.
In order to educate and help the citizens of Serbia in case of any doubts, the Contact Centre of PE Post of Serbia - phone numbers of which are 0700 100 300 and 011 3607 788 - is available on weekdays from 8am to 8pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 3pm.
Citizens are advised to take extra precaution, not to open links in received messages and not to enter their data
The entire case was immediately reported to the National CERT of the Republic of Serbia.
