Posts of Serbia and Slovenia cooperating in the field of digitalization
The delegation of the Post of Serbia, led by the Acting Director of the Enterprise, Zoran Đorđević, is on a return working visit to the Post of Slovenia in Maribor, where he spoke today with the Director of the Post of Slovenia, Tomaž Kokot, and his associates about cooperation in the field of digitalization, eGovernment and providing consulting support to colleagues from Slovenia in the process of adjusting the operations of the Post of Serbia to the standards of the European Union.
The focus of future cooperation between the Posts of Serbia and Slovenia will be the digitalization of postal services as one of the segments of Serbia's accession process to the European Union and the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Cooperation on the development of e-commerce was also discussed, and the hosts presented their innovative e-commerce service of the network platform, which is already being implemented with great success by post offices in the region.
“This is a very useful visit for us, and good practice examples and cooperation with the Post of Slovenia will help us develop new and technologically innovative solutions for e-commerce, which the Post of Serbia seeks to strengthen, as well as continue to develop new and high quality digital services in accordance with the needs of the citizens and businesses of Serbia”, said Zoran Đorđević.
