Đorđević and Ambassador Al Dhaheri: Stamp as a new symbol of friendship
H.E. Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia Mubarak Al Dhaheri and Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the PE Post of Serbia, met today and talked about the progress made in direct cooperation between the Posts of Serbia and the Emirates during the recent visit of the delegation of the Post of the Emirate to Belgrade and further steps and plans in the formalization of the agreements reached.
Acting Director Đorđević presented the Ambassador Al Dhaheri with the commemorative postage stamps issue “Serbia – the United Arab Emirates: 50 years of friendship”, that the Post of Serbia released on December 2, on the National day of the United Arab Emirates. Half a century of uninterrupted, strong and above all friendly relations, and cooperation between the two nations, that especially intensified in 2012, when it started rapidly developing in the fields of economy, culture, etc., symbolically represented graphically on a block with two stamps with the nominal value of 86 RSD and a commemorative envelope, in artistic realization of Miroslav Nikolić, creator of postage stamps for Post of Serbia.
