Address Data Synchronization with the Post Adress System

The most efficient way for legal entities to ensure constant quality of address data and fulfill the obligation to address postal items according to the prescribed standards is to harmonize their address database with the address system of the Post of Serbia.

The Post therefore created special services for legal entities.

Recording and maintenance of address data

The service includes download of the address database from the user, checking its correctness and synchronization with the address system of the Post.

For the address data of the user, the appropriate official name of the municipality, populated place and street are defined and the following is generated: delivery post office, delivery area and postal address code – PAK.

After that, a completed database of address data synchronized with the address system of the Post is delivered to the legal entity.

Maintaining the address system of the user

The companies, for which the Post performs the synchronization of the address database with its own address system, shall directly become users of the continuous address data update service. The data are updated in accordance with the changes in the field: change of street names, delivery post offices, etc.

Independent synchronization of the address database

All users who wish to independently supplement the address database with the information about delivery post office, area and PAK, can use the PAK browser on the Post’s website.
